Increased operational reliability & extended lifespan

Flux Transformer Services, your partner for maintenance (issues)

Preventive maintenance increases the operational reliability of your transformer and extends its service life. A good maintenance plan saves unnecessary and unexpected costs in the long run. Flux Transformer Services can perform a baseline measurement to determine the maintenance needs of your transformer (s).

The baseline measurement consists of:

Olievulmachine

  • Thermographic research
  • Oil sample and oil analysis of the transformer
  • Testing the transformer protection
  • Visual inspection of the transformer
  • Checking the HS & LS connections
  • Preparation of reports

Preventive maintenance program:

  • Thermographic research
  • Oil sample and oil analysis of the transformer
  • Testing the transformer protection
  • Visual inspection of transformer
  • Cleaning the installation
  • Checking the HS & LS connections
  • Measurements:
    • Insulation resistance;
    • Winding resistance;
    • Transfer ratios;
    • Capacity and Tan D (possibly followed by replacement transit);
    • SFRA (Sweep Frequency Response Analysis);
  • Check accessories and protections:
    • DGPT;
    • Bucholz;
    • Thermometer;
    • Fans;
  • Replace silica gel

Our team can also carry out various maintenance and repair work on site for you.

Online DGA monitoring:

Monteur oliefilter

For example, continuous online DGA monitoring of your transformer permanently provides information about the quality and condition of the transformer.

VAISALA offers various monitoring products for this purpose, whereby the oil samples are continuously analyzed.

Intervening in time if values start to deviate can prevent a malfunction or failure of your transformer.

Oil sample and oil analysis:

Flux Transformer Services works together with renowned laboratories for research and analysis of the oil samples that examine the oil quality on, among other things:

  • breakdown voltage, moisture content, interfacial tension and acid number;
  • gas-in-oil research that measures the condition of the transformer and is also the basis of diagnostics in the event of faults;
  • residual life test of the transformer by, among other things, determining the dp value of the paper and the furan content in the oil;
  • PCB statement.
